 Pop-up Makerspace

Welcome to our Makerspace!

For the last ten years we have been providing high quality place based educational excursions and classes in the corridor area.

This year we are pleased to offer our Pop-Up Makerspaces in a variety of locations!

Pop-Up Makerspace

Our Makerspace is founded on something quite simple: experimental play!

Kids in our maker programs learn from play with hands-on activities in the STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art & Math) fields. Our makers take things apart, question, solve problems, create and design all while learning basic processes & skills along the way.

What's in a Makerspace?

Our Makerspaces are rich with possibilities!

Each Maker program we plan five to six STEAM based activities. In addition to our planned activities we also provide materials for free play exploration. The choices are endless - chemistry, soft circuitry, robotics, coding, painting, jewelry making, soldering and more!

Our Makerspaces introduce new skills and allow makers to filter projects based on their own interest and abilities. Plus, it is a great time to socialize and meet new friends!

We are very excited you have considered us to be a part of your learning adventure and look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions you may send me an email at Info@ActiveLearnersIA.com.

See you soon!
